SATI IS A RESEARCH PLATFORM AND CONSULTANCY THAT PUBLISHES INSIGHTS, PROVIDES BACK-OFFICE SUPPORT FOR INVESTMENT COLLECTIVES, and FUNDRAISING SUPPORT FOR FOUNDERS

Margaret Ntambi (Marge) and Onabikoa Aliakai (Ona) are co-founders of Sati.

Marge brings over a decade of corporate finance experience at Fortune 500 companies before transitioning into venture capital. She began her VC career working with US-based emerging fund managers, developing expertise across the full fund lifecycle.

Ona started out in RevOps, building systems and processes to drive repeatable revenue growth at an HR SaaS company operating across the UK, EU, and Australia. She broke into VC at a London-based firm, where she focused on deal flow development, founder engagement, and fund positioning.

They founded Sati to address the gap in high-quality, context-driven Africa-focused research and investment infrastructure. Sati’s work gained traction, leading Velocity Digital—a top Africa-focused pre-seed firm with investments in over 70 startups—to engage the team to support its syndicate operations. Marge now serves there as Managing Partner, with Ona as Research and DD Lead, where they play central roles in strengthening diligence rigour and portfolio construction.
